Sandal Granada is the 5th fragrance in the Moresque Art Collection, and focuses on the incredibly beautiful Moorish architecture in the ancient castle of Alhambra in Granada, Spain. Once the center of Islamic culture and civilization, Alhambra is the pinnacle of Islamic design, architecture, cultivation, and art.

The Nasrid palaces and their magnificent gardens are still visited and studied today, for their beauty, sense of balance, and cleverness. Modern day architects also study the arabesque structures within the castle walls – the intricate courtyards, the fascinating water piping system, the filigreed stalactite vaults, and marble fountains. It was here, in this castle, that the Moors would welcome traders from all over the world, bearing spices, sandalwood, and precious gold.
